當植牙回天乏術時不論以橋體或新植牙重建皆可歡顏

植牙即使重病嚴重骨吸收，甚至禍不單行同時伴隨缺少角化齦，牙齦退縮變長有黑三角等不美觀現象⋯⋯這些植體都有機會保留同時改善美觀只要使用功能仍正常， 亦即有用就有救也能美！

但是一旦植體失去骨整合，經不起扭轉或鬆動會痛等皆無法受力的情形下就是回天乏術了，此時可考慮移除後以牙橋(上例)或重植(下例)同時兼顧美觀完成， 亦即無用就無救重建也能美。

No matter how ill it is with severe bone loss +/- poor esthetic with recession, papilla loss, lack of keratinized tissue etc. as long as the Implant maintains its function then there is a way to rescue it.

However, only when implant lost its osteo-integration presented with poor anti-rotation or fixture mobility with pain etc. can we declare that it is beyond rescue. We can choose to either restore with pontic (top case) or new implant (bottom case) without sacrificing the esthetic.
